Headteacher's PA needed at a Catholic high school. Support the Headteacher and Governing Board with administrative tasks.

The Opportunity:

As the Headteacher’s PA, you will provide essential administrative and confidential support to the Headteacher and Governing Board. This is a key role that requires a highly organised and professional individual who can manage a busy workload while maintaining a calm and positive attitude. You will be an ambassador of the school and a vital member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Headteacher and Governing Board
  • Manage a wide range of confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Act as a first point of contact for staff, pupils, parents, governors, and visitors
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes for the Governing Board and senior leadership
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Support the Headteacher in managing school-wide events and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Proficient in using office software and administrative systems

Preferred

  • Knowledge of statutory school policies and procedures
  • Understanding of school safeguarding measures
  • Experience in a senior administrative role
  • Familiarity with governance procedures and meeting management
