Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans for students.
  • Provide academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.
  • Manage intervention programs for students with special educational needs and English as an additional language.
  • Collaborate with staff to promote student well-being and academic progress.
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a teaching or learning support role, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support a range of student needs.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEND) or English as an additional language (EAL).
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
  • Experience in curriculum support or lesson planning.
  • Previous experience in a school environment within the Outwood Family.
