Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a homeroom class with a focus on student engagement and academic growth
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with U.S. curriculum standards
• Foster positive behavior and create a safe, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Utilize educational technology tools to enhance teaching and learning
• Support students with diverse learning needs through differentiated instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and supportive school culture
• Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Homeroom Teacher
• IELTS score of 6 if English is not the native language
• Strong understanding of U.S. curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Background in early childhood or primary education
• Familiarity with Virginia State Standards and AP Program
• Demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning and innovation
