Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of young learners.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and emotional well-being.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards and school goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress and development.
  • Support and contribute to after-school activities and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or Primary education or relevant degree and a recognized Teaching Qualification/License.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in recognized school or international school environments.
  • Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to child protection and safeguarding standards.

Preferred

  • Experience of working with DSIB, OFSTED or similar school inspection authority.
  • Experience of working in an international school setting.
  • Knowledge of current educational developments in the UAE.
  • Familiarity with the New York State Next Generation Early Learning Standards.
