The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and qualified PE Teacher to inspire students across all grade levels. This role is central to promoting lifelong health and wellness through innovative and inclusive physical education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Physical Education to students across all school levels following the USA curriculum.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that foster physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Utilize technology to enhance student learning and engagement in physical education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support holistic student development.
  • Manage diverse classrooms effectively and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure alignment with school values.
  • Promote a culture of physical activity and wellness among students of all skill levels.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in Physical Education.
  • Strong knowledge of the USA curriculum standards for physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead diverse groups of students.

Preferred

  • Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
  • Familiarity with the Virginia State Learning Standards and NGSS.
  • Experience working in an international school setting.
