The Opportunity:

As an HR Manager, you will lead the Human Resources Department in a unique international school environment. This strategic role will shape the school’s workforce, culture, and talent development, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop HR strategies that support the school’s mission and goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development programs.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Ensure effective employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics, including staff retention, turnover, and engagement.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager in an educational setting, preferably international.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, including employment law, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience in the Middle East or international schools.
  • Familiarity with British-style education systems.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
  • Experience with HR software and digital tools.
  • Background in education or training.
