The Opportunity:
As an HR Manager, you will lead the Human Resources Department in a unique international school environment. This strategic role will shape the school’s workforce, culture, and talent development, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop HR strategies that support the school’s mission and goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development programs.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Ensure effective employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, including staff retention, turnover, and engagement.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in an educational setting, preferably international.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, including employment law, recruitment, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience in the Middle East or international schools.
- Familiarity with British-style education systems.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Experience with HR software and digital tools.
- Background in education or training.
