The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Key Stage 2 lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in medium and short-term planning, target setting, and student progress monitoring.
  • Support the development of students’ academic and personal growth through a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Participate in school-wide events and activities that enrich the student experience and promote a strong sense of community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
  • Demonstrate strong English language skills in both written and spoken communication.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of fostering global citizenship and cultural awareness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Valid teaching qualification and eligibility to work in Qatar.
  • Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong English language proficiency in both writing and speaking.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of Excellence, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, and Compassion.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire students and colleagues.
