The Opportunity:
As an Infant Teacher - Nursery & Reception, you will play a vital role in shaping the early education of young learners. This is a dynamic and impactful position that requires creativity, dedication, and a passion for teaching in a supportive and innovative school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Provide constructive and guided feedback to students through both written and verbal communication.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments to support student progress and development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents through regular updates, parent conferences, and report writing.
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that promote active learning and student engagement.
- Use data to inform teaching strategies and report to parents on student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Create an enabling environment that encourages risk-taking and places the child at the center of the learning process.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Education.
- Minimum of two years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage programme.
- Ability to teach across the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues.
- Openness to new and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
- Empathy and the ability to build links across social and cultural boundaries.
Preferred
- Experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and Arabic Medium subjects.
