Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
  • Plan and implement medium and short-term teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, provide mutual support, and ensure consistent standards of teaching.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, using data to inform targeted interventions and support.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and personal development.
  • Participate in the broader life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and community events.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians to support student learning and well-being.
  • Stay up to date with educational developments and continuously improve teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A valid teaching qualification and eligibility to work in Qatar.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international school setting.
  • Familiarity with the English National Curriculum.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
