The Opportunity:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in History and Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following the UK-IGCSE and A-Level curriculum. You will inspire critical thinking and cultural awareness, making a meaningful impact on students’ academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, UK curriculum-aligned lessons in History and Geography for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students
  • Design and implement creative, interactive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and share best practices
  • Utilize educational technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs
  • Support the school’s mission of promoting global awareness, creativity, and academic excellence
  • Provide individualized feedback to students to help them achieve their full potential

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Graduate Certificate or higher qualification in Education or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at secondary/high school level
  • Strong knowledge of History and Geography for KS3, and experience with History at IGCSE and A-Level
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Native level of English
  • Qualifications from a UK university

Preferred

  • Experience with international school settings and diverse cultural contexts
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology
  • Background in curriculum development or assessment design
  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE or A-Level teaching
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
