Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Individuals and Societies, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a curriculum aligned with IB standards.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and pastoral care.
  • Participate in a wide range of professional development opportunities within the school and across the MAT.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Experience teaching Individuals and Societies at Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Strong commitment to student progress and a passion for teaching and learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme or Career-related Programme.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
