Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Individuals and Societies, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a curriculum aligned with IB standards.
- Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and pastoral care.
- Participate in a wide range of professional development opportunities within the school and across the MAT.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience teaching Individuals and Societies at Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Strong commitment to student progress and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB Middle Years Programme or Career-related Programme.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
