Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and attainment.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the quality of teaching across the department.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings to contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.
  • Support students in their personal and academic development, ensuring they feel valued and motivated.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Early Career Teacher support.
  • Familiarity with GCSE Mathematics curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
