The Opportunity:

This role involves teaching History, Geography, and Cultural Studies at KS3 and potentially Qatar History, with the opportunity to teach up to KS4. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach History, Geography, and Cultural Studies at KS3 and potentially Qatar History.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and innovative learning environment.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities, trips, and school events.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Experience teaching History, Geography, or related subjects at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision, mission, and values.

Preferred

  • Experience with extra-curricular activities and student engagement.
  • Familiarity with British curriculum and international teaching standards.
