The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced IB Business Studies Teacher to inspire students with real-world applications of business concepts and develop their analytical and entrepreneurial skills. This role is ideal for educators passionate about fostering critical thinking within an international context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons in Business Studies within the International Curriculum.
  • Develop students’ understanding of key business concepts and their application in local and global contexts.
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments aligned with international standards.
  • Design and implement formative and summative assessments that support student learning.
  • Foster inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and independent research skills.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning initiatives.
  • Support student personal development in line with the school’s values and international philosophy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and international-mindedness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Business Studies within an international curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of external assessment frameworks and examination preparation.
  • Commitment to inquiry-based, student-centred learning.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching within the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students in a multicultural environment.
