Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging IB English lessons for Middle and High School students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
  • Foster critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills in students through innovative teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching IB English at MYP and DP levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach IGCSE English language and literature.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Passion for international education and a commitment to student-centred learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with STEAM and project-based learning approaches.
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Programme and IPC curriculum.
  • Knowledge of Italian language and culture.
  • Experience in teaching in an international school setting.
