The Opportunity:

As an IB Mathematics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that prepares students for success in the IB program. This is an opportunity to shape young minds and foster a lifelong passion for mathematics in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (AI) SL curriculum.
Prepare students for Internal Assessments and external IB exams, ensuring alignment with IB assessment criteria.
Utilize technology and mathematical tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to support student progress.
Mentor and advise students to support their academic and personal development.
Teach High School mathematics (Grades 9-10 Common Core) as part of the role.
Collaborate with the Mathematics Department to ensure a coherent and well-structured curriculum.
Support teaching of IB Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA) SL or HL, if applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching certification and relevant qualifications for IB Mathematics.
Familiarity with IB assessment criteria and interdisciplinary learning.
Strong technological skills and experience using digital tools for instruction.

Preferred

Experience teaching IB Mathematics in an IB-accredited school.
Ability to foster an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity and encourages a love for learning.
