Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons that support language acquisition and academic success
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for English language learners
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and language abilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop structured academic language support and learning pathways
  • Build positive relationships with students and families to support student wellbeing and progress
  • Utilise creative, evidence-based strategies to accelerate language development
  • Provide strong pastoral care and support students through transitions into mainstream classes
  • Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking teaching team

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching EAL/ESL learners in an international or multilingual setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and academic progress
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs
  • Passion for language learning and student success

Preferred

  • Experience with immersive language teaching methods
  • Familiarity with international curricula and assessment standards
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
