The Opportunity:

As an Inclusion Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the school’s internal exclusion facility. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student behaviour and learning outcomes, while working within a dedicated and passionate Pastoral Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the school’s internal exclusion facility to develop positive behaviour and learning habits.
  • Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Deliver tailored support and guidance to students facing challenges in behaviour, attendance, or wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the Pastoral Team to implement early intervention strategies.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of inclusive policies and practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience of working with and supporting learners in an educational setting.
  • Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with students.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of happiness, ambition, resilience, and tolerance.
  • Willingness to work within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in pastoral care or inclusion support roles.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
  • Experience with safeguarding and student wellbeing.
  • Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and values.
  • Experience with working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
