The Opportunity:
As an Inclusion Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting students within the school’s internal exclusion facility. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student behaviour and learning outcomes, while working within a dedicated and passionate Pastoral Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the school’s internal exclusion facility to develop positive behaviour and learning habits.
- Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Deliver tailored support and guidance to students facing challenges in behaviour, attendance, or wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with the Pastoral Team to implement early intervention strategies.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of inclusive policies and practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience of working with and supporting learners in an educational setting.
- Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with students.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Commitment to the school’s values of happiness, ambition, resilience, and tolerance.
- Willingness to work within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral care or inclusion support roles.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
- Experience with safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and values.
- Experience with working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
