The Opportunity:
As an SEN Teacher with an English specialism, you will deliver high-quality, inclusive education that supports communication, engagement, and academic progress. You will work with students with a range of needs, tailoring lessons to meet individual goals and help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated English teaching to individuals and small groups
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to inform planning and intervention
- Lead and contribute to the development of English provision across key stages
- Support whole-school improvement in line with strategic priorities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across education and care to ensure consistency
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, regulatory, and professional standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- UK QTS or equivalent with a relevant degree
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of SEN, including ASC, learning difficulties, and complex needs
Preferred
- Experience with functional communication and literacy development
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience with trauma-informed approaches
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £44,000.00 per annum
