Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with diverse learning needs across all grade levels
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans
• Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Provide accommodations and modifications to ensure student success
• Communicate regularly with parents and school staff to support student progress
• Participate in professional development and continuous learning initiatives
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of tools and methods

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with inclusion or special education students
• Familiarity with the United States curriculum standards
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience with the Virginia State Learning Standards
• Experience with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
• Experience with the AP Program
• Experience working in an international school setting
• Experience with inclusive education and special needs support
