The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Arabic Teacher B to deliver engaging lessons that support non-native speakers in developing their language skills. This role offers the chance to shape young minds and inspire a love for Arabic through innovative teaching and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Arabic B lessons aligned with curriculum frameworks.
  • Teach Arabic to non-native speakers, supporting language acquisition from beginner to intermediate levels.
  • Foster confidence in speaking and listening, with structured progression in reading and writing.
  • Introduce age-appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures.
  • Use interactive strategies, games, and practical activities to enhance language retention.
  • Set meaningful homework to consolidate and extend learning.
  • Provide systematic and age-appropriate feedback aligned with school policies.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including students with special educational needs and EAL learners.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years’ full-time teaching experience in the UK or a British Curriculum school.
  • Experience teaching Arabic as an additional language (Arabic B / Non-Native Speakers).
  • Strong knowledge of language acquisition strategies and assessment practices.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Experience using data systems, student tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Confidence in using IT and digital tools to enhance language learning.
  • Willingness to build strong partnerships with parents.

Preferred

  • Experience in early literacy development or English language acquisition.
  • Background in primary education with a BA and PGCE or BEd qualification.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural team environment.
