Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective math lessons aligned with the US curriculum standards
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans and assessments that support student learning
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Monitor and support student progress through regular assessments and personalized feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents to support student success and development
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
• Educational/Teaching Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
• IELTS score of 6 if English is not your native language
• Familiarity with the US curriculum standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience teaching middle school students
• Experience with the Virginia State Standards or AP Program
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom
