The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion Teacher KS4 SEND to join our team, supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities. This role is central to our commitment to inclusion and ensuring all students reach their full potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive education tailored to the needs of KS4 students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans in collaboration with support staff and parents.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Engage with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Support students in preparing for examinations and transitions to further education or employment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse student groups and support their academic and personal development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in creating and delivering individualized learning plans.
  • Commitment to inclusion and a student-centered approach to teaching.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and police checks (or equivalent) from all countries of employment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international or independent school setting.
  • Familiarity with UK or international curriculum frameworks for KS4.
  • Experience with assistive technology and inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative in collaborative projects.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
