The Opportunity:

An Islamic Studies Teacher (FS–Year 6) is needed to deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that instil Islamic values and beliefs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to supporting student development in a dynamic, multicultural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach high-quality Islamic Studies lessons across Foundation Stage to Year 6, including play-based FS approaches.
• Plan, differentiate, and assess pupil learning to support progress and development.
• Create a calm, purposeful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leaders.
• Contribute to school events, co-curricular activities, and professional development.
• Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and KHDA standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Degree in Islamic Studies with previous KHDA approval
• British curriculum teaching experience, 2+ years
• Excellent classroom practice and lesson planning skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Flexible, resilient, and reflective practitioner

Preferred

• Experience in multicultural or international schools
• EYFS/Foundation Stage teaching experience
