The Opportunity:

As a PE Technician / Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality physical education and sports across all year groups. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sport, student development, and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to coach school teams and contribute to a vibrant and dynamic sports programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and facilities for PE lessons and sports events
• Assist teachers during practical PE and swimming lessons and support student engagement
• Coach and manage school sports teams, including training, fixtures, and supervision
• Maintain, organise, and monitor sports equipment and storage areas
• Support the planning and delivery of school sports events and fixtures
• Promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and a passion for sport
• Provide guidance and support to students during sporting activities
• Collaborate with the PE department to ensure the delivery of an engaging and inclusive sports programme

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children or coaching young athletes
• Confidence in leading sports teams and supporting PE lessons
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Passion for sport, teamwork, and student development

Preferred

• Sports coaching qualifications, including swimming
• First Aid certification
• Experience in a school environment
