The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Primary French Teacher to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students across a range of year groups.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum for England and school standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and professional development.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
• Stay up to date with educational trends and best practices in language teaching.
• Support the school’s mission of ‘Every Child, Every Mind and Everybody matters’ through dedicated and impactful teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in French.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.

Preferred

• Ability to also teach Spanish.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology in the classroom.
• Familiarity with AI-based learning initiatives or project-based learning.
