The Opportunity:

As an IT Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the school’s IT infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth operation of the IT network and provide expert support to staff and students, while keeping up to date with the latest developments in IT and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the IT network, ensuring reliable and secure operation
• Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in line with best practices
• Coordinate with external consultants to source and implement new software and hardware solutions
• Monitor and maintain the school’s help-desk management system
• Stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in IT and cybersecurity
• Collaborate with the IT Technician to deliver seamless IT services across the school
• Ensure the IT infrastructure supports the school’s educational mission and goals

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in IT management within an educational setting
• Strong technical skills in network, software, and hardware support
• Experience with help-desk management systems
• Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with school management information systems (MIS)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with cloud-based IT solutions
• Experience in managing a small IT team
• Commitment to the Christian ethos of the school
