Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Design and implement engaging sports and physical activities tailored to the needs of junior students.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate PE with academic learning and school values.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in physical education, providing constructive feedback.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sports coaching.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Support the school’s mission to develop well-rounded, confident, and physically active students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • British teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and a minimum of two years teaching experience.
  • Proven ability to teach PE to junior students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience working in an international or independent school setting is preferred.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering sports programs or extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with British independent school standards and values.
  • Knowledge of sports coaching or physical development best practices.
  • Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
