The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on young learners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and challenge Key Stage 1 pupils.
  • Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies that support the needs of all learners.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, using data to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the PSHE curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including NPQ programs.
  • Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 1.
  • Strong understanding of child development and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in trauma-informed teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with multi-cultural and inclusive education environments.
  • Experience with assessments and data tracking for pupil progress.
  • Willingness to take on leadership opportunities and engage in professional development.
