The Opportunity:
As Kindergarten Director, you will lead the educational program and ensure a high standard of learning and development for young students. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of early years education and fostering a supportive, innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the kindergarten educational program
- Provide leadership and guidance to early years educators and support staff
- Maintain a learning environment that promotes high standards of teaching, learning, and behavior
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents to support student development
- Manage and mentor early years educators through regular observations and feedback
- Collaborate with the management team to align kindergarten initiatives with the school’s vision and mission
- Ensure compliance with local educational authorities and accreditation standards
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new early years staff in partnership with Human Resources
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in Early Years Education, Child Development, or Primary Education
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a leadership role within an international school setting
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality education and foster a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in education
Preferred
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate or Cambridge curriculum
- Familiarity with child protection policies and international educational standards
- Experience in managing and mentoring early years educators
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working in a diverse, international environment
