The Opportunity:

As Kindergarten Director, you will lead the educational program and ensure a high standard of learning and development for young students. This role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of early years education and fostering a supportive, innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the kindergarten educational program
  • Provide leadership and guidance to early years educators and support staff
  • Maintain a learning environment that promotes high standards of teaching, learning, and behavior
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents to support student development
  • Manage and mentor early years educators through regular observations and feedback
  • Collaborate with the management team to align kindergarten initiatives with the school’s vision and mission
  • Ensure compliance with local educational authorities and accreditation standards
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new early years staff in partnership with Human Resources

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree in Early Years Education, Child Development, or Primary Education
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a leadership role within an international school setting
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality education and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in education

Preferred

  • Experience with the International Baccalaureate or Cambridge curriculum
  • Familiarity with child protection policies and international educational standards
  • Experience in managing and mentoring early years educators
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in a diverse, international environment
