The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1/KS2 Class Teacher to join our supportive and innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students in KS1 or KS2.
- Work collaboratively with year-group teams, including shared planning and peer support.
- Support the pastoral and SEND needs of students through high-quality provision and facilities.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and achievement.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enrich the student experience.
- Ensure effective communication with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 or KS2.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive education to children of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in a multi-cultural or inclusive school environment.
- Familiarity with SEND support and inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
- Strong team-player with a collaborative and supportive approach.
