The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students in KS1 or KS2.
  • Work collaboratively with year-group teams, including shared planning and peer support.
  • Support the pastoral and SEND needs of students through high-quality provision and facilities.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and achievement.
  • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that enrich the student experience.
  • Ensure effective communication with parents and colleagues to support student progress.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS1 or KS2.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive education to children of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural or inclusive school environment.
  • Familiarity with SEND support and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
  • Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Strong team-player with a collaborative and supportive approach.
