Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and specialist areas at Key Stage 5.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
• Support the development of students’ scientific knowledge and skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and technicians to enhance the Science curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Engage in continuous professional development to improve teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
• Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Ability to teach specialist areas at Key Stage 5.
• Commitment to student achievement and pastoral care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with A-Level Science courses.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods and technology.
• Experience in a high-achieving school environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
