The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Law Teacher to join its team and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development. This role offers the opportunity to teach A Level or BTEC Law and to be part of a supportive and inclusive community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach A Level or BTEC Law to a diverse group of students.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that encourage critical thinking and student participation.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for higher education or employment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in pastoral care and student support initiatives.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of law and incorporate these into teaching.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree in Law or a closely related subject.
- Experience in teaching, either at a newly qualified or experienced level.
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A Level or BTEC Law.
- Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range from £33,465 to £51,714 per annum.
