The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Law Teacher to join its team and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development. This role offers the opportunity to teach A Level or BTEC Law and to be part of a supportive and inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level or BTEC Law to a diverse group of students.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that encourage critical thinking and student participation.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for higher education or employment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning strategies.
  • Participate in pastoral care and student support initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of law and incorporate these into teaching.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Law or a closely related subject.
  • Experience in teaching, either at a newly qualified or experienced level.
  • A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A Level or BTEC Law.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
