The Opportunity:

As a Study Support Caseworker, you will provide essential support to students with complex needs, including transition planning, risk assessments, and exam access arrangements. This role is vital in helping students reach their full potential within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Conduct transition planning and risk assessments for students.
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support.
  • Carry out exam access arrangements assessments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and their families.
  • Collaborate with external professionals to support student well-being.
  • Provide guidance and support during times of crisis.
  • Ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
  • Experience in an education setting.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in working with students in crisis.
  • Knowledge of exam access arrangements and risk assessments.
  • Experience with multi-agency working.
  • Experience in pastoral support or similar roles.
