The school is dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 7 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. It provides a structured, nurturing environment to help students achieve their full potential.

The Opportunity:

As a Lead Psychotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the in-house clinical team and delivering tailored assessments and interventions. This is a key position within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team that supports students with complex needs, including autism, developmental trauma, and SEMH challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the in-house clinical team, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead
  • Coordinate the line management of the onsite clinical team
  • Support the development and delivery of the clinical school-based service
  • Ensure all work aligns with EHCP plans and the OFG clinical frameworks
  • Provide supervision and support to the therapy team
  • Maintain clear and concise clinical and research-related report writing

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body at Level 7
  • Valid and up to date professional registration and membership of a relevant body (e.g., BPS)
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and experience running reflective practice and supervision sessions
  • Ability to work independently and dynamically within a developing clinical service
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle

Preferred

  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty
  • Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary between £50,000 and £60,000
