The Opportunity:
As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting learners on their educational journey. You will inspire, motivate, and champion self-discovery, helping students set meaningful goals and develop essential self-management skills for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and support learners in setting and achieving personal and academic goals
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to provide tailored support and encouragement
- Foster a culture of self-discovery and personal development
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance the learning experience
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation
- Monitor and track learner progress using appropriate tools and systems
- Provide feedback and support to help learners build confidence and independence
- Stay up to date with educational trends and best practices in student support
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A University Degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high standards of achievement
- Knowledge of Microsoft and Moodle platforms
Preferred
- Experience in education or youth development
- Background in mentoring or coaching
- Experience with innovative teaching methods
- Familiarity with personal development and life skills programs
