A school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Teaching Assistant - English to support students in Years 3 - 6 who may be experiencing learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom and during small group sessions to enhance their learning experience.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and staff.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Contribute to the overall welfare and development of students both academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with other teaching assistants and staff to ensure consistent support for students.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to continue professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently within a team environment.

Preferred
