The Opportunity:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Minibus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students. This role is essential in supporting the school’s commitment to student welfare and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the school minibus on set routes, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers
• Ensure pupils follow safety policies, including the use of seatbelts during all journeys
• Conduct daily and weekly vehicle checks to ensure the minibus is in good working condition
• Report any vehicle faults or issues immediately for prompt repair
• Maintain a high level of awareness of health and safety standards at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Full, clean driving license with D1 classification or willingness to complete in-house training
• Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Experience working with children or young people

Preferred

• Previous experience in a similar transport or driver role
• Knowledge of local area and school routes
