As a Learning Support Worker, you will assist adult learners in achieving their goals in Functional Skills English and Maths. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support learners in Functional Skills English and Maths classes.
  • Provide individualized assistance to students with additional needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure student progress and success.
  • Use computer systems such as Teams and Outlook efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Participate in induction and on-the-job training with current team members.
  • Maintain a flexible and reliable work schedule, including evening and daytime hours.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 / C or above.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude towards working with adults and those with additional needs.
  • Ability to use computer systems such as Teams and Outlook.

Preferred

  • Experience in education or support roles.
  • Previous experience working with adults or students with additional needs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and during the day.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.81-£12.89.
