As a Maths Teacher - Secondary, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mathematics education to students across Years 7 to 13, following the UK National Curriculum. You will be part of a dedicated and collaborative team committed to student achievement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to a diverse range of students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the UK National Curriculum
• Support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, including EAL learners
• Utilize digital tools such as Google Classroom and Google Meet to enhance learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to department and whole-school priorities
• Participate in professional development and quality assurance processes
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
• Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• At least one year of teaching experience in a secondary setting
• Confident knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary Mathematics

Preferred

• Experience teaching across a range of secondary year groups
• Strong classroom management skills
• Proficiency in using digital tools to support learning
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL/EAL)
