The Opportunity:

A Mathematics & Physics Teacher is sought to inspire students across KS3, GCSE, and IB, with some KS4 Physics teaching. This role offers the chance to join a high-achieving department and contribute to a school consistently recognized for outstanding academic results and a supportive community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics and Physics to students across key stages, including KS3, GCSE, and IB.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and engage students, ensuring strong academic progress.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s enriched curriculum and extracurricular programmes.
• Support the continuous improvement of student outcomes through innovative teaching practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the school’s outstanding reputation in Maths and Science.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience teaching Mathematics to KS3 and GCSE students.
• A degree in a relevant subject, along with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding learning and teaching outcomes.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Physics.
• A commitment to student achievement and the belief that all students can reach their full potential.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Physics to KS4 students.
• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme.
• A passion for education and a drive to inspire and motivate students.
