Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Mathematics department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the British National Curriculum and international standards.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and innovative learning experience.
• Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Plan and deliver engaging, student-led lessons that utilise technology effectively.
• Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, promoting a well-rounded education.
• Ensure compliance with exam requirements from AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Undergraduate degree or major in Mathematics.
• PGCE in Mathematics.
• Experience of leading in a British School or British Curriculum School.
• Experience teaching AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards.
• Evidence of 'Outstanding' teaching practice or the potential to become outstanding.
• Demonstrated ability to improve department performance.
• Strong ability to plan engaging, student-led lessons.
• Expertise in Mathematics with a passion for inspiring students.
