The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping student success by delivering engaging and challenging mathematics instruction at both GCSE and A Level. You will contribute to the school’s vision through active participation in extracurricular activities and support the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students at GCSE and A Level.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the UK curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s academic and cultural vision.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and possess QTS certification.
  • Have a minimum of one year of teaching experience in a UK curriculum school.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in teaching GCSE and A Level mathematics.
  • Be fully committed to the school’s vision and values, including participation in extracurricular activities.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with the use of digital tools in the classroom.
  • Familiarity with UK curriculum standards and assessment practices.
