Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons to Secondary students, including A Level Maths
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the school’s vision and curriculum standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and support continuous improvement in teaching and learning
  • Provide individualized support to students to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Participate in the school’s extra-curricular program and community events
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s research and innovation initiatives
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and students to support learning and progress
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly to inform teaching and learning

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Secondary A Level Maths
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding learning and teaching
  • Commitment to the school’s core values of integrity, empathy, and fortitude

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula, such as the International Baccalaureate
  • Familiarity with educational research and innovation initiatives
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
