Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and International Baccalaureate.
  • Develop creative and engaging teaching resources that encourage student participation and practical learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Secondary A Level Food Technology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A willingness to collaborate and share best practice with colleagues.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with international curricula, such as the International Baccalaureate.
  • Experience in extracurricular program delivery or community engagement.
  • Knowledge of modern food technology and industry-standard equipment.
