Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and A-Level, aligned with the IGCSE and A-Level curricula.
• Personalize instruction to meet the diverse needs of students transitioning from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 and A-Level.
• Develop and implement a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform teaching practices.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and independent thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-disciplinary learning and integrate Mathematics with other subject areas.
• Stay up to date with curriculum developments and incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies into lessons.
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring assistance with English as an Additional Language.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A recognized teaching qualification and an Honours degree in Education, PGCE, or a related discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with experience teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and A-Level curricula.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that promote inquiry-based learning and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and strategies for supporting EAL learners.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
