The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our Secondary School team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum, support student development in mathematics skills, and contribute positively to our vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum
• Support student development through individualized instruction and differentiated learning strategies
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies
• Integrate technology into lesson planning and delivery to enhance student engagement
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Communicate regularly with parents and students to support academic and personal growth

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics or related field
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school mathematics using the Australian curriculum
• Strong knowledge of current teaching methodologies for mathematics education at the secondary level
• Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons that meet diverse student needs
• Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment
• Proficient in integrating technology into teaching practices
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Familiarity with Visible Learning principles and practices
• Experience in a multicultural or international school setting
