Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive, and engaging PE lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Contribute to the school’s co-curricular sports programme, including coaching and event organisation.
• Support student development through sports, leadership, and character-building activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and whole-school initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and take on additional responsibilities where appropriate.
• Stay updated with best practices in PE and student wellbeing through reflective practice and professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, PGDE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching PE within an international or British-curriculum school.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver structured, inclusive PE lessons.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Preferred

• Experience in leading school sports programmes or events.
• Prior middle-leadership or Head of Department experience.
• Experience with IGCSE or equivalent curriculum.
• Demonstrated initiative in curriculum innovation or professional development.
