The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher (Subject Lead - IB MYP) to lead curriculum development and teaching across year levels. This role combines high-quality instruction with leadership responsibilities, making a meaningful impact on student learning and programme development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based Mathematics lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework
• Foster conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills in students
• Design and develop MYP Mathematics unit planners with a focus on coherence and rigor
• Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across year levels in the curriculum
• Oversee progression of concepts and levels of challenge in Mathematics
• Ensure consistent application of MYP assessment criteria (A–D) and lead moderation
• Analyse student performance data to inform teaching and curriculum decisions
• Lead subject team meetings and support collaborative planning and professional development
• Mentor and support teachers in MYP practices and curriculum implementation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within IB MYP (essential)
• Previous leadership or subject coordination experience
• Strong understanding of MYP curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy

Preferred

• Experience with ManageBac or similar systems
• Native or near-native level of English proficiency
