The Opportunity:

As a Subject Lead Arts, you will lead the development of a dynamic MYP Arts programme, inspiring students through creative expression and critical reflection. This role combines teaching excellence with leadership responsibilities, making a significant impact on student learning and curriculum innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based Arts lessons within the IB MYP framework
• Foster creativity, performance, and reflective practice in students
• Support the development of artistic skills and conceptual understanding
• Lead the design and ongoing development of MYP Arts unit planners
• Ensure alignment of curriculum across year levels
• Ensure consistent application of MYP assessment criteria
• Lead moderation and standardisation within the Arts team
• Promote interdisciplinary learning and creative collaborations

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts or a related field
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within IB MYP
• Previous leadership or subject coordination experience
• Strong understanding of MYP Arts curriculum and assessment
• Native or near-native level of English proficiency

Preferred

• Experience with ManageBac or similar systems
